AT&T Gets HTC Titan, Samsung Focus S & Flash (All 4G w/ Front Facing Cameras)

September 12, 2011 No Comments

I was really looking foward for the HTC Titan on T-mobile but it looks like AT&T has not only grabbed it up but took the Samsung Focus S as well. Here is a breakdown of AT&T’s fall lineup of Windows Phones.

Samsung Focus S

  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display
  • 1.4GHz processor
  • 4G-capable speeds
  • thin profile at 8.55 millimeters
  • front facing 1.3-megapixel
  • rear facing 8-megapixel

This device is going to get ALOT of attention this fall. A 4.3 Super Amoled Plus screen running Windows Phone will be an amazing sight to behold. Also at 4G speeds with a front facing camera, it looks like the Samsung Focus S has the right specs to be one of the best Windows Phones available this fall.

HTC TITAN

  • 4.7 inch Screen
  • 1.5 GHz processor
  • 8-megapixel camera
  • dual LED flash
  • Front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • DLNA support
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • 1,650mAh battery
  • Quad-band
  • 130.6 x 70.6 x 9.9 mm
  • 14.2mbps HSDPA

So far from what I have seen and heard, The HTC Titan has been the fan favorite. With it’s crazy 4.7 inch screen, will be a sought after Windows Phone device this fall. Especially for users like me that work and game ALOT on our Windows Phones.

Samsung Focus Flash

  • 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen
  • 1.4 GHz processor
  • 5-megapixel camera plus front facing camera

Not much is known about the Samsung Focus Flash. It has been introduced as the cheaper alternative to the Samsung Focus S. It packs a smaller screen and it will only leave a small dent in your pocket.

AT&T has also promised us that it will be one of the first carriers to update their current Windows Phone lineup to Mango. Hopefully they keep their word and it wont be like that huge mess they made last time with NoDo.

Mango Update

AT&T will be among the first to offer the Windows Phone Mango update to its leading portfolio of Windows Phones this fall. Current Windows Phones from AT&T include:

  • HTC HD7S™
  • HTC Surround™
  • LG Quantum™
  • Samsung Focus™
