Xbox Live Extras App Gets Mango Update

It is exciting to see apps getting updated to enable the power of Mango. The latest to be updated has been the Xbox Live Extras app. The app was very critical before since it was the only way we could really look at our Xbox Live stuff in detail and the only way we could interact with other Xbox Live members. Now with the Mango update, you can do most of that stuff within the games hub.

Now the Xbox Live Extras App has been stripped to just customize your avatar and purchase avatar items. With the update you can also fast switch between apps. I can’t wait till most apps in the marketplace have that feature enabled.

The app is completely free and available by downloading it from Zune or scanning the barcode with Tag Reader (Microsoft Tag) or any barcode scanner of your choosing.
