Motorola Receptive to Manufacturing Windows Phones

August 10, 2011 No Comments

Though Motorola is mainly focused on building Android devices, CEO Sanjay Jha has said that he is open to working with Microsoft to make Windows Phone devices.

Jha’s interest in Windows Phone does come with stipulations. He is apparently interested if they could get a deal similar to the one Microsoft struck with Nokia.

“I think we’re completely open to the notion of Windows as a platform,” Jha said in an appearance at the Oppenheimer Technology & Communications Conference.

The question is what does Motorola have to offer Microsoft that would promt them to give Motorola such a deal? This obviously is not likely but chances are that as Windows Phone grows, Motorola will change their stance on building for Windows Phone.
