Molly Wood Faces Her First Week in the Windows Phone Challenge (updated)

August 9, 2011 No Comments

Cnet reporter, Molly Wood has accepted and began her Windows Phone Challenge. Brandon Watson challenged Molly Woods to try a Windows Phone 7 device running Mango and see if Windows Phone gives her everything she was looking for in a smartphone but had never found. If she isn’t satisfied with Windows Phone then Brandon Watson will donate $1,000 to the charity of Molly’s choice. This all began with Molly tweeting about issues with her Droid X – an Android device.

She has began to write about her experiences, likes and dislikes on Cnet. There isn’t much she is saying yet but she has only had it for a week. Brandon Watson supplied her with an HTC Trophy powered by the latest Mango Beta. She already has found some quirks but understands that there might be a few bugs since it is not a finished product. She does however like rearranging her live tiles.

“I got the phone this weekend, and I’ve activated it, added Facebook integration and three Google-based e-mail accounts (all three wouldn’t work the first go-around, until I deleted them and re-added them–I’m not sure why), and I’ve had quite a bit of fun rearranging all my live tiles so far. I’ll be using the phone as my daily device, for pictures, navigation, e-mail, calendar, Facebook, Twitter, the whole shebang”

We will keep an eye out on the very picky but honest Molly Wood and update you on her Windows Phone Challenge.
