DFT Flashes Mango 7720 on HD7 Then Releases Tool For Custom Roms

August 1, 2011 2 Comments

The Dark Forces Team (DFT) not only got their hands on a Mango RTM build and were able to flash it onto an HTC HD7 but yesterday they also released a tool to flash custom roms.

Custom Roms were a big deal when Windows Mobile was Microsoft’s mobile OS. I am not sure if they will still be as popular with Windows Phone. It will still be fun to see what folks change about the UI to make it “better”. This tool will only work with first generation HTC devices

  • HTC Mozart
  • HTC Surround
  • HTC HD7
  • HTC Spark/Trophy
  • HTC 7 Pro,
