How can I restore to NoDo without having a previous backup file? I bought my phone from second hand and it came with 7.10.7712.

After you started Zune (not going to the update section just yet), copy your backup file again in *userprofile*AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Phone Update (because you will probably see it has been deleted, it happened to me). Once copied, go to the Update section and you will see the restore button. Good luck!

Hi, I did not have restore option either. Then I renamed the existing "restore folder" by add "-old" to the end of folder name. Then copied backup from by separate drive and then restore appeared in Zune.
