BBC News Mobile Mango App in Development [video]
July 15, 2011 No CommentsThe Mango version of the BBC News app is currently in development and the developer is generously sharing the progress on his blog. His latest posting tells of features that have been added to the application and also a video demo of the app so far.
New features include:
- Double Sided Live Tiles
- Pin individual feeds to home screen
- Background service meaning improved live tile and breaking news notifications
- Background caching if wifi is available to speed up the app
