Steve Ballmer Reiterates New Windows Phones by Christmas

With all the Mango craze that is going around our Windows Phone world lately we haven’t heard too much talk about new devices. Even though we have a few that have leaked (one being a very intentional leak)

Rumors have spread around the internet with some saying new Windows Phones will be arriving later this year. Others saying that new WP7 devices wouldn’t be making it to market until early next year. Well the big man himself has promised us new phones this holiday season. Steve Ballmer, speaking at the 2011 edition of the Imagine Cup finals was quoted in saying the following.

“Windows Phone. You know, a year ago we didn’t have a phone in the market. Now, we’re charging forward with Nokia. We have the second generation of our phones coming out this Christmas, and people are starting to do things they had never imagined before. I love the applications that I saw for the Windows Phone from the people in this room, and the way you’re pushing that device, and using that device. It was really exciting for me.”  – Steve Ballmer

Tbere you have it! New phones guaranteed to be coming this year. Now the only question remains which of the leaked phones from above will be making its ways into stores this holiday. Which one are you guys looking forward to the most?
