Mango: Windows Phone Multilingual Keyboard Demo

June 27, 2011 No Comments

If you have been wondering how Microsoft would incorporate multilingual support in the Mango update we now know. It seems there will be a little button just right of the spacebar that will let you switch between the languages that you have set on your phone. Pressing said button will not only enable the keyboard to switch between languages but it will also give you the respective keyboard layout and enable the languages’ auto-correction. For some Asian languages there will even be handwriting recognition. There is some question whether the region or OEM policies will have an impact on certain phones using certain layouts or languages.
