Mango: Asian Language Input (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) – Video

The Mango update for Windows Phone 7 will be bringing tons of new features to the platform. Steve Ballmer was quoted screaming 500 new features’. We even have a growing list of some of the features that have been leaked/ announced so far. One of them being that Windows Phone 7 will be supporting new languages thanks to the Mango update. Winrumors recently went through the new asian language input, which includes Chinese, Japanede and Korean.

    Here we come. With rumors of a Nokia phone (albeit in Europe before here) October 26th, Mango must be debuting in October as well. Languages are one hurdle, the other is licensing for Marketplace to be fully functional in Asia. Can a WP7 phone be far behind for Japan? Hoping before 2011 is out.

    Well other rumors give WP7 for Japan only in June 2012. But you’ll still have the solution to buy a sim-free handset abroad and bring it to Docomo: they accept all devices now.
