Seesmic Discontinues Blackberry Support: Focuses Support for Popular Platforms Like WP7

With RIM’s world crumbling down this past year and more of their users switching to other platforms. Seesmic drops support for blackberry all together and decides to focus their energy on popular platforms like Windows Phone 7. In an open letter on their website to Blackberry users, Seesmic says that they are discontinuing support for blackberry in order to focus their attention on their most popular platforms.

“Blackberry users, we have important news we would like to share:

Effective June 30th, Seesmic will discontinue support for Blackberry in order to focus development efforts on our most popular mobile platforms: Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7.

We encourage those effected by this change to try out Seesmic for Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7, as well as Seesmic Desktop and Web.

Seesmic even goes the distance by promoting Android, IOS and Windows Phone to those ‘effected by the change.
