Microsoft to Supply Developer Phones Running Mango Next Week

June 14, 2011 No Comments

We recently ran an article referring to a tweet by Joe Belfiore in which he states the Microsoft was working on a plan to get the Mango update into the hands of the developers before launch.

Winrumors is now saying that they have learned that Microsoft is planning to supply the first set of devices running Mango as early as next week.

There is no further information on this matter. It is still unknown what device will be distributed and whether Microsoft will charge for these new devices.

Mango will be Microsoft’s first major update to Windows Phone 7 and will include over 500 new features. To the lucky developers that get first dibs on the new devices, enjoy!
