How to Get Different Images on Your Picture Hub Tile and Pictures Background

June 7, 2011 2 Comments

The folks over at the monsmartphone blog seem to have discovered a minor glitch in Windows Phone 7 that allows users to change the background in the pictures hub to make it different from that of the picture hub tile itself. I hope you’re still following me.

So, you would start by making sure the image you want to keep as your tile image is set. If you don’t know how to change the background images, you can find the instructions here. Once you have your tile image set, you now have to make use of the glitch to change your picture hub background image without changing the tile. To do so, choose a new background image and adjust the picture to crop. Press the check but before it is finished saving entirely hit the home button. Your background should have changed and your picture hub tile should have remained the same.
