Nokia to Continually Release Windows Phone 7 Devices

May 26, 2011 1 Comment

Many people have written off Windows Phone 7. One of the reasons is that since its’ release no new phone models have been added to their lineup. Other OS’s consistently come out with new phone models to keep consumers interested. With Windows Phone 7 people have sat idly, waiting for something new to transpire and from what we know will continue to wait until this Fall when Microsoft released the Mango update.

The good news is that once Fall comes and Nokia introduces their first WP7 devices, they intend to keep on churning out those devices, this according to Nokia smartphone chief Jo Harlow.

“We should be launching new devices in a rhythm that might be every couple of months, every three months, something like that….We’re going to keep coming with new devices in order to have something to talk about.”

With devices coming out continually, there will be constant improvements being made. This is absolutely a good thing for WP7. Not only will consumer perception of it improve, but other OEM’s might feel the need to up the ante and produce more devices as well. This kind of thing always works well for the comsumer.
