Flory IM Client Pulled From Marketplace: IM+ Getting Closer to Launch

May 18, 2011 2 Comments

Looks like our rocky relationship with the WP7 Flory App has come to an end.  We all knew it would happen weeks ago but still..  I had a soft spot for Flory since it was the only instant messenger that worked at least halfway decent.

In more cheerful news! IM+ is just that much closer to arriving on Windows Phone. On their Facebook page they commented on the beta process and trying to get it out to the marketplace ASAP!

‘Folks, we know it’s been a long wait. We are working hard and doing our best to release the beta of IM+ for WP7 asap. And it is almost here. We expect the first beta within 2 weeks timeframe, however ETA may vary. Please note that due to technical and legal structure of Marketplace the beta will only be available for registered developers devices. We’ll be back with updates on beta release shortly. Thank you for understanding.’

IM Plus which supports the following services…

  • MSN
  • Yahoo
  • Gtalk
  • Aim
  • Myspace
  • Jabber
  • ICQ
  • Facebook
  • Skype
  • Twitter

And Kik launching any moment now… (or so they said). Will finally fill that huge hole that Windows Phones have regarding instant messengers.
