Shazam Encore

Shazam Encore just hit the Windows Phone Marketplace. This premium version of Shazam has tons of new features, includes unlimited tagging and will set you back $5.99 (ouch). The app also includes watching music videos from Youtube and music lyrics to add to an already solid application.

Those who are not familiar with Shazam. The basic purpose for this application is to be able to identify music that is playing outside of your phone. Like music playing at a club, while at the supermarket, etc. You can just turn on the app and it will search for the song information for you. On Windows Phone 7 it actually also connects you to the song on Zune for download and/or purchase.

App info: With Encore you can enjoy exclusive features including unlimited tagging and
Recommendations, as well as all Shazama’s features identify – a track, buy
it, check out the videos, get the lyrics and more.

It’s the slicker, faster way to discover more about music!

Upgrade your music journey with Encore:

  • Unlimited tagging, so don’t miss a music moment – tag as often as you like
  • Identify what song is playing and buy the track direct on Zune Marketplace
  • Get Music Recommendations to discover similar music

  • Read album reviews, artist biographies and discographies
