Speed Showdown: IPhone 4 vs Windows Phone 7

There is no doubt that there will constantly be debates about Iphone and Windows Phone 7. The only way to stop a debate is with cold hard inarguable truth. Microsoft Student Partner uploaded a video showcasing the IPhone and Windows Phone 7 completing the same tasks side by side in order to compare the speeds at which the two devices operate. The steps completed on the phones are:

1. Take a Picture
2. Upload Picture to Facebook with Caption (“Check out my new hat!”)
3. Update Status (“I love weekends!”)
4. Find Directions to a Restaurant (Olive Garden)
5. Get Movie Times (“Fast Five”)

Windows Phone 7 comes out on top in this battle, however the video is sped up so there is no way to guage the speed at which each individual is performing the tasks. I do believe the video is evidence that WP7 speed is better but it really can’t be counted as concrete. I am sure we will get a better comparison eventually.
