More Game Room WP7 Games Coming This Week

Windows Phone 7 is slated to get two more Game Room titles this week. Asteroids Deluxe and Pitfall will be the two new titles added to the Game Room this week. Both will be Xbox Live titles which means that for you achievement fiends out there, these will probably be must haves.

Asteroids is a video arcade game released in 1979 by Atari Inc. It was one of the most popular and influential games of the Golden Age of Arcade Games. Asteroids uses a vector display and a two-dimensional view that wraps around in both screen axes (a toroidal topology). The player controls a spaceship in an asteroid field which is periodically traversed by flying saucers. The object of the game is to shoot and destroy asteroids and saucers while not colliding with either, or being hit by the saucers’ counter-fire.

Pitfall! is a video game released by Activision for the Atari 2600 in 1982. It is the second best selling game made for the Atari 2600, with over 4 million copies sold.

These two games will be available this Wednesday for $2.99 each.
