HTC Hero Running WP7 (Not Android) on Smallville

We have seen our fair share of Windows Phone on the CW. Recently though our favorite mobile OS was caught running on a totally different device. In this weeks episode of Smallville WP7 Lois Lane places a call to Tess Mercer, who appears to have an HTC Hero. Instead of the phone turning on to show off Android, it reveals a very obvious Windows Phone.

Could it be a teaser for what may be coming later on? or could it be just trying to show off the OS on as many different looking handsets as humanly possible…  What do you guys think?
