LG E700 to Feature IE9: Must Be the Mango

April 17, 2011 No Comments

LG has been working on a new Windows Phone 7 handset. We do not have any leaked images yet and pretty much nothing else except an .xml file that has surfaced. In the file it pretty much profiles the phone, One big noticeable feature is that it says it boasts IE9 (Internet Explorer 9). The same IE9 that we saw shown off at SxSW, then at MIX11, then compared to IOS and Android (which WP7 and with IE9 blew them all away).

Since it is boasting IE9 we all can safely assume that the phone will not see daylight until the Mango update which will be later this year (late fall perhaps).
