When the ‘Mango’ update is released this Fall it will open up a lot of new possibilities for developers. The update will have a lot of tools to help devs develop applications. One such app set to be releases in the Fall along with ‘Mango” is Spotify.

Where you go, the music goes too

Introduce your trusty mobile phone to Spotify and you’ll be able to access your account and all your playlists anywhere. You just need to be a Premium member and have a Spotify-friendly phone. iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, Symbian, Palm and iPod Touch are all in the gang. Spotify also works on the iPad.

To take the world of music around with you, say hello to Spotify Mobile.

Online, offline, anytime

Spotify allows you to listen to music whenever you like by streaming it over WiFi or 2.5/3G.

But you don’t always need to be online to get your listening fix. You can store your playlists in offline mode as well. Spotify won’t let a poor connection get in the way of the music, no way. Learn more »

Sync as you go

As if by magic, your Spotify Mobile will be perfectly in sync with your computer – any change you make to one will appear immediately on the other. Fear not, no actual magic is used.

The Spotify app will be free, however users will have to create a premium account to use the service which is £9.99 a month.
