With the tax deadline looming we figured we would highlight an app that helps you to estimate what you will receive back from the government or what you will owe.

TaxCaster by Intuit (TurboTax) works by letting you enter your income and deductions and it calculates and estimate of what your tax return will look like. If you have any changes to your taxes throughout the year you can also use TaxCaster to help you figure out how those changes will affect your taxes. In addition there is a ‘What If’ feature that lets you see how certain changes such as having a baby will affect your tax situation.
