This is one tough relentless game. There are no extra lives, do overs, nothing….

So why am I still playing Dave Leverton’s TapSplosion? because it is tons of fun, that’s why! It reminds me of old school arcade games where there was no room for errors, no room for failures. In this game you go against any enemy horde that relentlessly follows you throughout the whole game. You let them touch you just once and your done, that it – game over. What do you have as a defense? Just as the name suggest you can tap on an area on the screen and that area will explode. Any enemies that were in or around that particular spot will cease to exist. You also get a few power-ups that cause things like vortex’s and bigger explosions when you tap.

TapSplosion is a frantic game that will have you hooked the arcade feel and high difficulty it provides. There is the Paid version (No ads) is a measily $1.29 which you can get here. There is also a TapSplosion Free available with a small ad on the top corner which you can get here.

[rating:4.0]

Game info:

TapSplosion is the game that the Windows Phone 7 platform has been waiting for! With fast, frantic and addictive gameplay you just have to try it for yourself.

In TapSplosion, you tilt your phone to control the player and tap the screen to place explosions in that position. You have to battle an oncoming enemy hoard which is constantly increasing in size and complexity and always tracking you down. If one of these enemies touches you, you will explode and it’s game over for you! You get points based on combo kills, time alive and number of enemies on the screen and you can submit your score to global leaderboards and compete with other players from around the world!
