Windows Phone as a Credit Card… Would You Want To?

March 23, 2011 No Comments

The technology has been making slow progress the last couple of years in the US. The ability to make payments straight from your phone at a store by just tapping it over a censor. Well it is going to happen and probably sooner than you think. The technology we are talking about is NFC Mobile Payment System.

According to a few people close to the matter, Android, iPhone and Windows Phone will be loaded with these tiny censors to give you the ability to make mobile payments. No one knows for sure yet whether this technology will make it to the next iterations of these devices.

Would you want the ability to pay with your Windows Phone? Does it make things more/less secure? Would it even speed things up at all?
