Game Review: Full House Poker

Full House Poker is not only very high quality but it has me hooked! When the Windows Phone 7 platform was first announced this is the kind of game I envisioned playing. It looks great, it is very intuitive and it is just a blast to play. It is loaded with different game modes (Standard Games & Tournaments) and a good amount of customization. Plus, we finally get to see our avatars get into the gaming as well.

This is by far the best Texas Hold’Em style poker you are going to see on any mobile platform. On the normal game mode you can choose up to 5 CPU drones to play with. I feel the difficulty level is just right and it allows you to have fun but at the same time really make you work hard for your money. In tournament mode you get to play 1 on 1 vs a ‘pro’ and that’s where it gets a bit tougher. No matter which mode you play in though, you are guaranteed loads of fun.

As you play you also recieve experience points that not only give you a reputation and pick up your level. You also gain different customization options like background, card deck designs and nicknames.

This game also plays companion to its big brother on the Xbox 360. The experience you gain in either game syncs to your total points and level. Now my only issue with this game is that it should include multi-player. It just doesn’t make sense that this game cannot be played with other WP7 owners nor Xbox 360 players. Not even an option through Wi-Fi. One can only dream that this title receives an update in the future to unlock online play.

Everything else about this game is just perfect and should be picked up by any type of gamer.
