How to Connect Flory to Facebook…Step by Step Instructions

March 16, 2011 2 Comments

I was extremely excited for the release of Flory but very disappointed that I couldn’t connect to Facebook chat. I tried anything and everything I could to connect and still nothing. Flory recently had their servers down for a couple of hours and then this morning a miracle happened….my phone connected to FB chat. Here’s how to do it…

  1. First you have to login to Facebook
  2. When you are there go to Account and go into Account Settings
  3. There you should see an option for Username, go ahead and create your FB username. This will be the username you use to login to Flory
  4. Go to Flory and input your Facebook username and password
  5. Facebook will send you an email stating someone tried to access your account. Flory’s servers are in Germany so if that is the location of where the attempted access was, then you approve
  6. At this point you should almost be connected. Go back into Flory and press the save button. It should tell you that you connected to Flory successfully.
  7. All you have to do now is restart Flory

If you already have a Facebook username set up then you can skip ahead to step 4. If you don’t know your FB username but know you have one you can check by going through all the steps above or simply login and it should be in the address bar. You can find it after facebook.com/YOUR USERNAME WILL BE HERE
