Windows Phone 7 Gaining (School) Grounds

Blundell School

It is always a good sign for a platform when big companies and institutions adopt the technology. Today launched the first app from an actual school (to my knowledge). The Blundell’s School in the UK just made available a Windows Phone 7 Application geared towards parents, students and staff. It is meant to keep everyone in the loop with news and weather. I look forward to seeing more schools using technology as a way to keep everyone informed.

Small but everyday apps like these made for specific individuals, shows how much Windows Phone 7 has really been adapting globally in just a short few months. It is a small step for WP7 but the important thing is that it is in the right direction.
