New Nielsen Survey Says Windows Phone is up to 10% (US)

March 4, 2011 No Comments

We all knew that it would be a tough battle for Windows Phone 7 when it was released. It came into the market when there was already 3 mobile giants leading the charge. Some analysts said it was impossible for Microsoft to make a dent in the mobile world. All I think WP7 needs to get to the top is time.

Good news is that slowly Windows Phone is starting to gain traction. A new Nielson survey puts Windows Phone at 10% marketshare for the last 3 months. Which is a huge bump up from the 6% that was reported a few weeks back. What could it be?

Well whatever it is, I am pretty sure that number will only keep on going up.
