Homebrew: Windows Phone Device Manager

I love Microsoft’s Zune software. It’s clean, fast and everything itunes isn’t (Sorry but its true… even some apple fanboys hate it.) The one thing I don’t like though is that fact that it only works as a syncing device with the Windows Phone (and barely that) Enter Windows Phone Device Manager by Julien Schapman from the Homebrew community. It really puts the Zune Software to shame as far as Windows Phone 7 is concerned.

  • Manage your apps, check for updates
  • Edit Office documents
  • Transfer files
  • Connect via tether or WiFi
  • Device Info
  • Screen capture
  • Send SMS, emails, notes, clipboard info
  • Add custom ringtones
