Contacts Glitch Found in Windows Phone 7

February 26, 2011 No Comments

Though very minor,  a glitch where contacts un-link themselves and contacts pinned to the home screen disappear(from the home screen only, the contacts remain in the people hub) has been discovered. Microsoft has already acknowledged the issue and is currently trying to rectify the problem. I, personally have experienced the un-linking and it isn’t a major issue in my opinion. This glitch is irritating at most, but it’ll still be nice to have everything functioning as it should.

Microsoft – ‘We’ve found an issue resulting in some contacts being unpinned from the Start screen, or contacts that were linked together manually becoming unlinked. We apologize for any inconvenience and we’re working quickly to resolve the issue to ensure it will affect as few people as possible. Also, be reassured that none of your contacts have been deleted from your phone. You should be able to find them in the People Hub, if you want to pin or link them again.’
