Game Review: Boss Launch 2

Some games are made by cloning an already popular game and skinning just the surface. Boss launch 2 manages to take an Idea and create something new with it.

The game plays a lot like Angry Birds. It has the same basic element and the same basic setup. But that's where the similarities end. In Boss Launch 2 you work in an office that gets attacked by zombies. You try to turn to your boss but he’s sleeping through the attacks. What do you do? You launch your boss from is chair towards the zombies. The big difference between this an angry birds is that you only have 1 shot per level to hit the zombies with your boss or any obstacles that were in your way. As you continue with the game your boss gets a few power-ups reminiscent of a few pissed off birds you might have encountered before.

I enjoyed the original twist to this style of gameplay. I did however feel like the game at times was too simple and lacking any type of strategy because it was only a one shot deal. Usually launching him straight away as hard as you can would do the trick.

Anyone into this type of gameplay should definitely give this game a try. Best of all it is completely free.
