Twin Blades: Removed From the Marketplace

February 17, 2011 No Comments

The cartoonish but violent game, Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard has been pulled from the Windows Phone marketplace with very little explanation as to why.

Karl Stricker, Business Manager of Mobile Gaming at Xbox LIVE, offered a brief summary of the situation via his personal Twitter account: “We had to remove it due to marketplace content policy.” He stated, promising that there will be, “More detail on the Xbox forums to come.”

Those of you that have downloaded the game already will not be affected. Those of us that now want to play it because it is now controversial, cant because it is no where to be found  : (

What is even more surprising though is that this is happening about 4 months after launch and it is an Xbox Live game so Microsoft themselves were involved somewhat in the process.

We will keep you updated…
