Game Review: Parachute Panic HD

The doodle like graphics, the a cappella singing, sharks, helicopters, thunderstorms, babies and even aliens. All of this and you still have to save them! Them? Stick figure jumpers that's who? Control the winds and their backup parachutes to help them land on the passing ships.

This game looks simple and maybe easy at first but after you have saved a few of them, things do start getting a bit 'hectic'. The game is a lot of fun and it is the only game I have ever played that I enjoy losing also. That a cappella singing in the end does it to me every time. In my house all you hear is my kids singing "the game is over…. I can't believe it". The audio in this game is as addicting as the game itself.

While playing Parachute Panic HD, you might go through many emotions. Trying to save those little guys from impending doom is a fun but difficult task. The sick part about it is that a little part of you wants to fail. It's just too much fun watching them. *gulp* die… The animations of their tragic deaths are hilarious. Helicopters blades will hurt them (that's an understatement). Sharks will eat them, aliens will capture them, and a floating cloud will strike them with lightening. With all this adversity how will they survive? By you controlling the winds and guiding their parachutes of course. Also grabbing babies flying by stork will earn you an extra life along with jumping fish.

Does this sound at all crazy? Yes it does… But it is a very good, fun and addicting game. It's something that any hardcore or casual gamer alike would enjoy. You can sit down and play it for awhile and its also good for quick stolen moments on a line at the bank or at the supermarket. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars because although very entertaining, it might get a bit repetitive over time. Nonetheless this is a definite pick up for anyone looking to pick up a game in the marketplace.
