Microsoft looking into high data usage

Some WP7 users are reporting that their WP7 is using an unusually high amount of data. Some even say that at times when their phone isn’t being used there is still a high amount of data transfer. They are estimating that their phones use 30-50MB per day even with very light use. Even a few people claiming to have received a bill for over 20GB of data. Microsoft has assured that they are looking into the matter and will give us information as soon as it’s available.

I, personally have not experienced any such problem with my HD7. In fact my usage for the last month was 840 MB. My husbands’ was quite a bit more (3.2GB) but that isn’t unusual since he utilizes his data plan constantly. So tell me fellow WP7 users, are any of you experiencing this issue. If so how much data is your WP7 device using up and what carrier do you use? To be fair I have only seen complaints from AT&T customers.
