Review: Talking Ragdoll App

January 10, 2011 No Comments

Talking Ragdoll is an application that allows you to put the face of an existing picture on your phone onto a doll like body. You then have the ability to abuse your ragdoll in a number of ways that you might find amusing. You might want to throw eggs at your ragdoll. Maybe grenades. It is terribly amusing. It also lets you record about 5 seconds of audio for your ragdoll to repeat. I generated dolls of both my kids and enjoyed my time spent throwing eggs and tomatoes at them. They sat with me and joined in on the fun also.

While the application is certainly entertaining it quickly becomes boring. It isn't an app that I will turn to time and time again. There really aren't enough things that you can do with your ragdoll to keep me coming back to this application more than once a month. For the time I did play with it I did enjoy being mean to my ragdoll. The talking ragdoll application was easy to use, responded well to my touch and was also entertaining to use. Even still I can't imagine myself using it often or for more than 5 minutes at a time.
