Graphic.ly: Review

I don’t think there were many people as pumped up for this app like I was. I used to be a heavy comic book collector and I have been away from the scene for awhile. This was my chance to get back into things and buy/ read comics on my new phone. What happened next played out like a great comic in itself. I was caught off guard… this … application is not only NOT great – it’s not any good.

The idea is great, who wouldn’t want to read comics on their phone. Thing is it has to be usable to be of any use. The application hangs up after every press. Loading is unbearable and you will be waiting for the comic covers for awhile. On an upside as soon as you can get a comic open its somewhat pleasurable. Even though the image feels like its just floating in thin air. The art is amazing which is a shame because it makes it that much harder to come to the conclusion that this app needs to go back to the drawing board.

I hope they update this app soon.
